Sporting

Barillà Upland Game Club & Hunting Preserve offers a variety of sporting services which include but not limited too: small game hunting daily, hunting dog competitions, sporting clay shooting, target shooting, seminars about hunting and hunting dog competitions.  We also host big and small group daily hunts which can be booked in advance.  These group hunts include our hunting dogs and live birds being released and planted for daily hunt booking.  These sporting activities give our clients the multiple opportunities to enhance their shooting skills, enjoying the outdoors, being away from the city and practicing target shooting prior to the hunting seasons.  Of course this also benefits clients who want to stay sharp for competitions.

Barillà’s Upland Game Club & Hunting Preserve also offers The Hunter Ontario Safety Course on site.  The course is conducted at our Clubhouse on and a qualified Ontario Hunting Safety Course Instructor is brought on site to conduct the course.

Sporting Clay Shooting

Barillà Upland Game Club & Hunting Preserve offers sporting clay shooting.  Sporting Clay is the closest thing to actual field shooting of all shotgun sports. … Rather than using standardized distances, target angles and target sizes, sporting clays are designed to simulate the hunting of ducks, pheasants and even rabbits.

Sporting clay shooting helps sharpen your shooting skills and can prepare you for upland bird hunting.  This sport can also be competitive or you can shoot sporting clays for fun.  It is recommended that goggles and ear plugs be worn for safety purposes.

Target Shooting

Barillà Upland Game Club & Hunting Preserve also offers target shooting to their clients and customers who want to practice their hunting skills prior to the hunting season or just simply want to practice their shooting skills throughout the year.

Target shooting can be with guns or bow and arrow.  The open field has targets set up for clients to practice at various range levels.  If there is a range distance that you would like to practice at, targets can be set up to accommodate the specific range distance.
